THE USER MUST CHOOSE THE CORRECT MODEL OR SIZE MASK TO COVER THE FACE FROM NOSE TO CHIN, AND ALLOW FOR ADEQUATE ADJUSTMENT OF THE TOP, SIDES AND BOTTOM OF THE MASK. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO CHANGE THE MASK IF IT IS WET, VISIBLY SOILED, DAMAGED, OR IF BREATHING IS DIFFICULT. DO NOT WEAR THE MASK FOR MORE THAN FOUR HOURS. WEARING A MASK DOES NOT REPLACE HAND WASHING, RESPIRATORY ETIQUETTE AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH. WEARING A MASK SHOULD NOT DETRACT FROM EFFORTS TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL DISTANCING. THE SAME MASK MUST ONLY BE USED BY THE SAME PERSON. FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE AND SAFE USE REDUCES THE PROTECTION OFFERED BY THE MASK AND INCREASES THE RISK OF INFECTION.

TO WEAR THE MASK SAFELY:

  • WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE PUTTING IT ON AND AFTER TOUCHING IT.
  • HANDLE THE MASK BY THE STRAPS FOR DONNING AND DOFFING. AVOID TOUCHING THE INSIDE.
  • ENSURE AN OPTIMAL FIT TO FULLY COVER THE NOSE AND MOUTH. THIS IS TO AVOID LEAKAGE AND THE NEED TO REPLACE THE MASK.

This batch has been tested to ensure breathability and filtration performance for 100 cycles of dry heat exposure maintenance. Masks should be hung or laid flat on a rack or tray in a hot air or convection oven at a temperature of 93 Celsius (200 Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes. Do not leave the oven door open for more than 15 seconds. Once the masks are removed from the oven, allow them to cool to room temperature for at least 5 minutes. Visually check the mask for signs of deterioration after each service cycle.

In the event of stains, dirt or foul odours, clean the facepiece by hand by submerging and gently agitating it in warm water with a mild detergent without brushing to avoid damaging the fabric fibres. Rinse with clean water until all detergent is removed and dry flat.

The mask should not be exposed to flame. Wearing the mask adds an additional barrier against some contaminants, particles, bacteria and viruses, but does not eliminate exposure or totally eliminate the risk of contracting a disease, virus or infection. Do not use this product when contaminant concentrations present an immediate health hazard. Failure to comply with these instructions and limitations regarding the use of this product may reduce the effectiveness of the mask. It is important to know how to use, remove and dispose of the mask properly. The BNQ certifies masks in the workplace for the number of maintenance cycles tested. However, you can reuse the mask as a face cover. Discard the mask when deterioration is visible.

MASKS MUST BE STORED IN SUCH A WAY AS TO ADEQUATELY PROTECT THEM PRIOR TO USE AGAINST THE FOLLOWING: MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION, DIRT, DAMAGE AND ALTERATION OF MATERIALS THAT MAY REDUCE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT.
